WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
About Hospice Care
Listening. Being present. Holding a hand when it’s needed most.
Hospice care is a compassionate approach designed to provide comfort and support for individuals facing a life limiting illness. Instead of focusing on curative treatments, hospice prioritizes enhancing quality of life by managing symptoms, alleviating pain, and addressing emotional and spiritual needs.
Services are tailored to each patient's unique situation and include 24/7 support from a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains. This holistic approach ensures that patients and their families receive the care, respect, and dignity they deserve, helping them navigate this challenging time with peace and comfort.

Location
of Services
Hospice care can be provided in a variety of settings, depending on the patient's needs and preferences.
It can be delivered at home, allowing patients to remain in a familiar and comfortable environment surrounded by loved ones. Hospitals, nursing homes and Assisted Living Facilities also offer hospice care, providing specialized support for patients who may require more intensive medical attention or who need assistance with daily activities.
No matter the location, hospice care is centered on comfort, dignity, and quality of life, with an emphasis on personalized support for both the patient and their family.
